Vietnam Government Announces New E-Visa Policy Effective from August 15<\/h2>\n

The Vietnamese government has officially decided to issue Vietnam electronic visas (E-Visas)<\/strong> to citizens of all countries entering Vietnam<\/strong>, effective from August 15<\/strong>.
This policy includes holders of Chinese passports (passport numbers starting with \u201cE\u201d) and Taiwanese passports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Previously, Chinese passport holders who wished to travel to Vietnam for tourism or business were required to apply for a Visa on Arrival<\/strong>, a process that was significantly more complicated than applying for an E-Visa.
From August 15 onward, Chinese passport holders can now apply directly for a Vietnam E-Visa<\/strong>, making the application process much simpler and more convenient.<\/p>\n

Can Chinese Passport Holders Apply for a 90-Day Vietnam E-Visa?<\/h2>\n

In the past, Vietnam E-Visas only allowed travelers to stay in Vietnam for 30 days with single entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, according to the newly announced policy by the Vietnamese government<\/strong>, the E-Visa validity period has been extended from 30 days to 90 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As a result, citizens holding Chinese and Taiwanese passports can now choose between the following options<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    90-day multiple-entry E-Visa<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This update provides much greater flexibility for travelers planning longer stays or multiple trips to Vietnam.<\/p>\n

    Required Documents for Vietnam E-Visa Application<\/h2>\n

    The Vietnam E-Visa application process is simple and requires only a few documents:<\/p>\n

      Passport scan<\/strong>:
      A clear photo or scan of the full passport information page (not blurry), with at least 6 months validity<\/strong>. A mobile phone photo is acceptable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Portrait photo<\/strong>:
      A clear, colored portrait photo (no black-and-white, no glasses, no blur).
      The photo must not be cropped from the passport<\/strong> and can be taken using a mobile phone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Intended date of entry<\/strong>:
      You must select your intended entry date. Please note that you cannot enter Vietnam earlier than the registered date<\/strong>, but you may enter later.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Port of entry<\/strong>:
      Vietnam E-Visas allow entry through most international airports, seaports, and land border crossings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
